Please help little 3-year old Colby Amundsen get the Hyperbaric Oxygen machine he needs. At $9,000 per round of treatments, and needing several rounds, it will be cheaper to buy the machine at $18,000. The insurance company won't cover treatments.
Colby has had one round of treatments and made considerable improvement. He has a long way to go. Colby became ill from e-coli poisoning at a picnic up Logan Canyon last fall when he was only two years old and spent many months in the Primary Children's Hospital.
Before treatment Colby was in pain crying and screaming 12 to 18 hours per day and could do none of the following things he can now do: smile, laugh, open his hands, lift his head up, push up onto his hands and knees, roll over, eat a small amount of soft food. the machine has made a real difference. He still has tubes in his ears and is on a feeding tube. He is still in a wheel chair and can't talk. The improvement that he has made since getting one round of treatment gives hope that even more progress may be made if he gets his own machine. Please help! Call 753-2008. You can donate cash at Zion's Bank or Wells Fargo bank or you can donate items to a huge yard sale at Lee's Market parking lot, 555 East 1400 North on Saturday June 21. Garage sale begins at 7:00 am.
